They are made from extra wide ~4″ curved side staves taken from authentic retired wine barrels. The fish of your choice is exquisitely carved in rich 3d to a depth of about 1/2″ leaving ~1/2″ depth of stave remaining. They are finely sanded, stained and lacquered for a stunning fine finish that shows off the beauty of the quarter-sawn white oak. They make a gorgeous accent piece mounted on a wall, hung from above or simply displayed on a shelf or table top.
